Interfaith/Interspiritual Ministry

The foundation of interfaith/interspiritual ministry is the belief that at the heart of

all the great spiritual traditions is peace, tolerance, compassionate service, and love for all of creation. In the words of Rev. Susanna Stefanachi Macomb:

"Interfaith is not a religion. It walks among the religions. Interfaith begins when we create a bridge between one set of beliefs and traditions and another…An interfaith minister ideally is one who turns toward all, regardless of their beliefs or practices, with an open heart and mind, offering them a mirror to their own wholeness and their own divinity."

According to recent studies, nearly 40 million Americans today describe themselves as “spiritual, but not religious.” Perhaps you are one of them. Or perhaps you have a strong religious affiliation but want to learn about, and come to a deeper appreciation of, the wisdom of other traditions. If so, it's no accident you've found this page. An interfaith/interspiritual ministry could be just what you've been looking for.

The interfaith path can support your spiritual growth--not through dogma or rhetoric but through listening with presence and an open heart, and honoring what is alive for you right now. By sharing the beauty and common wisdom of the great spiritual paths. And by gently inviting a deeper, sweeter inquiry into the heart of the Divine.

If this sounds like you--any of it--I'd love to explore the possibilities with you.
